The book was a great read and the cover really pops out at you. I love the colors and the action scene on the front.

I might as well throw my two cents in. I'm about 3/4 of the way through the book now and WOW! The writing style is fantastic, beautiful and horrible at the same time. Like reading poetry written about the most horrendous things in life. Filled with indepth descriptions, lyrical and visceral. I can't think of enough flowery words so I'll stop now.

Kudos to the SNELLATOR and thank you for the book.

Stephen, thanks for bringing that list to my attention. Sheri and Dan, thanks for the kind words about the book. I've been calling it probably the only ultra-violent, neo-gothic zombie/vampire novel in existence. Don't know whether that's true, but it sounds cool.  Hope you enjoy it till the end, Dan.

Everyone who didn't attend Horror Realm missed out... Snell was giving away copies of ROSES!  (for real!)

Mr. Snell had such a way with words in this book, so vivid! The books that have come out this year have all been just amazing! :snell:

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

Thanks, Bruce!

It's true. People kept looking at me skeptically, as if they expected some kind of string attached. I must have moved 25 copies or more. Some people thought I gave only them a free copy; sorry, guys, you are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

I think they were worried some urine might be attached.

actually, dude, i think that if you were to mention the origins near the end of the not-prequel instead, it would work better. like you'd planned it that way, or something. quick! delete these posts so NO ONE EVER KNOWS.

Hah! This is gonna sound like I'm stealing the idea, but... that was the intended connection between the two books. By the end of the not-sequel, you'd know how the Puppeteer "got out."

right on. and i have no doubt at all that you already had something devious planned out. i'm um . . . well, already working on a sequel to something that i'm not quite done with yet, so when everything is said and done, if any of it sees the light of day, it'll look like i planned it all out meticulously, when really all i'm doing is going back and retconning the shit out of the first story to match what'll happen in the second. yeehaw!

i'm off to look for a thread to ask what you're working on now. erm, as long as it isn't fiendishly top-secret.
