I feel so out of the loop, socially, mentally, and a bit physically. :/  I only ever see stuff nowadays if it's on Twitter or Facebook.

So, friends -- what all has happened in your exciting lives? :P

My life has settled into a fairly enjoyable rhythm.  Within a month or two of paying off my car.  I am immensely proud of paying that gold bastard off six months in advance.  Next purchase....  Engagement ring. :thumbsup:

Like Bruce, I am also ratcheting up my fitness routine.  My focus is on what has always been my weakest performance: running.

This year's guard AT has been pretty awesome: we have been the guinea pig band for a conducting clinic lead by Prof. Jerry Luckhardt of the University of Minnesota.  I sometimes forget that the arts create people like this man: beautiful minds to match a beautiful soul.  It's been a breath of fresh air. 

Attached is a picture of my unit hanging in the bus.  I think we were about to play a change of command at 2pm in 110 degree heat.  Love it!

Hey Kody, Long time. I've been working on short stories and trying to get my third novel published. Been busy around the house and a few other things. I need to get my tail back here to Perm Press more often. Sorry guys and gals!

my sister visited me in July with her 2 adorable kids and with my own baby we had 3 wild kids running around the house, so my sister and me had to choose between killing our selves or taking the kids out, because i'm writing i think you know what was our choice. we went to malls, parks and to the beach..... it was a very busy month. now i'm back to my routine with one baby and i'm still going craaaaaazy..... that's it i need a vacation   :laugh:

Sorry I kinda/sorta abandoned this thread without reply. August was a bit of a crazy month. Was reworking an entire novel, had a week-and-a-half where I didn't have my meds (which was a combination of my own and the clinic's fault,) and started school near the end of the month. I've also had other things happening in the dating department, but I won't post explicit details mostly for privacy reasons, haha.

Hope you all are doing well.  :heart:
