I love this!   It's soooo true!

I heard a radio edit version of this the other day, too.

I need to read this, I've heard so many commentary, good and bad about it.  Like how it might be vilified if a woman wrote this, because there's still that happy mother/cranky father mystique.  It's an interesting thought.

So I went to the pdf (http://www.workingmomsbreak.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/GoTheFtoSleep.pdf) and read it.  It's funny and I can see why it caught on but, yeah, I think there's something acceptable about an upset dad writing it versus a mother.

FWIW, I wouldn't have a problem with a woman writing or reading this.  I have a hard time seeing a good parent actually saying this to a child, but I can see every parent feeling like this sometimes.

Cartoons are generally associated with children, but Family Guy isn't one of them.  Likewise, bedtime stories are generally written for children, but this one is for adults.  I can't imagine anyone caring which sex penned the book.
