THE BLACKEST HEART Pre-Order Challenge
« on: May 22, 2011, 11:56:57 AM »

Ladies and Gents, I’ll get straight to it.

The redux of The Blackest Heart will be ready in the next month. To jumpstart the event, I’ve challenged myself to sell a minimum of 100 pre-ordered signed copies in the next 10 days.
The cost? $20. The book is $15.95 plus 1st class postage. Payment can be made using PayPal (via horrorscifi@vincechurchill.com) or with cash or check. Checks are to be made out to Vince Churchill.
I want to show my commitment to my publisher, Norhtern Frights Publishing, by selling the hell out of both The Blackest Heart and its upcoming sequel, Pandora. This pre-publication push is just the tip of the iceberg.
The Spartans were 300. I'm just looking for 100. Your support can help to make this happen.

Please reach out to me via horrorscifi@vincechurchill.com if you need my snail mail addy.

I didn't realize I hadn't wrapped up the challenge from early summer. My laptop actually went down the night of day #5, but I still ended up pre-selling 92 copies. So, I failed to reach my goal, but all things considered, felt pretty good with the results. I'm pretty confident that had my power cord not gone on the fritz, I would have easily exceeded the century mark.

If I weren't still dealing with high school football, I might have tried the challenge with PANDORA, THE BLACKEST HEART sequel premiering Halloween weekend. Maybe next year with GOOD NIGHT MY SWEET.
