Good catch.  I hadn't though of "Cornelius" as a famous unnamed character.

However, I'd say he doesn't quite fit the examples/reasoning I tossed out for why you shouldn't name some characters.  Though I'll save the why for a message so I don't spoil Fight Club for the five or six folks who haven't seen it. :)

That would be the first rule of Fight Club.

Damn it.  Can't believe I didn't think of that.   :D

And just because this thread's handy, here's the end of the year, what-I-did-in-2012 post.

Latest entry where you mention Neil Gaimen...in a barely related note...I'm reading a book that talks a bit about his wife,  Amanda Palmer. Pretty interesting lady he married. She used to be a street performer where she did nothing but stand still in costume for cash. Made about $50 a hour doing it.

Her band was on Craig Ferguson's show a few months back (I think it was Ferguson).  I remember her "all natural" state caused an odd kerfluffle over on the Topless Robot site.

There's a time in my life where I would and did fight through such things.

Do you have any posts about time management/focus aside from the wonderfully titled "Jane you ignorant slut" post?

Actually, I think focus is a tag/keyword on the blog...

Yeah, it is.  Look at the cloud on the right.  Four different posts.   :)

We'll be up to our balls in jugglers next.

Today's post involves Benny Hill and Robocop.

If that doesn't tell you it's the most important writing lesson you'll read this year... well, there's no hope for you.

Wish I'd seen Cut to the Quick before finalizing the edits for RLT 3...

Yes, I'd read The Zombie Survival Guide as many times as the next guy, but my whole Z-Plan revolved around -not- getting close enough to the deadheads in order to fight them in hand-to-hand combat. No thanks. Just stay the hell away and put one between their eyes from a safe distance.
