(and if anyone could clean up that mess up there, that'd be awesome...)

All four intersecting, overlapping, and interweaving stories of The Junkie Quatrain are now available for the Kindle as a combined novella, complete with an all-new introduction from me where I ramble on about how this project came to be.

And because it's just under 40,000 words, it's pretty darn cheap.  Check it out.  It's like 28 Days Later meets Rashomon.

Audible.com has now released all four of The Junkie Quatrain stories as one set.

So if you've got three hours to kill... why not listen to the end of the world?   ;D

I've got a question with possible spoiler content.  I'll try to ask it in a way that's so obscure that nobody will know what I'm saying.

Why didn't Quilt recognize her the second time?

I will answer in an obscure, equally non-spoilerish way.

Check your messages.   :)

Hey Pete, I really liked JQ.  Is there going to be another?  You may call then short stories, but it seemed like one to me. I want to see how this turns out!

Hey, Joe.  Not sure if there will be another Junkie Quatrain or not.  It was kind of a one-off experiment, and I'm not really sure how possible it would be to reproduce that structure with the same characters.

Then again, the whole thing came to me in kind of a flash when I was first offered the job.  Maybe I'll have another flash over the weekend. :)

Or maybe it'll turn into some mass best-seller and Permuted and Audible.com will both demand another one.   :D

Given the choice, I'd take another seven Ex books.     Given that youre only one man with only so much time I'd rather have another Ex book from you Pete!

Y'know what?  Screw this Kindle-exclusive thing.   :D

The Junkie Quatrain is now available on the Nook, too.  And still for the same low price of just $2.99.

Why, that's less than most comic books these days.  Or a cup of Starbucks coffee.  Or a Carl's Jr burger.

You can't go wrong at that price!!
