Where there's a will there's a way!  Aren't there some chemicals that actually ignite when water touches them?  Douse yourself in those, then take a shower - voila! 2 birds, one stone.

This actually sounds like the perfect zombie defense plan.  Treat your clothes with phosphorous and carry a canteen.  If you are attacked by zombies, simply douse yourself with water.  Zombies will not eat someone who is on fire (at least, not that I've ever heard of.)
