Retro Flashback Extravaganza
« on: March 07, 2012, 01:12:39 AM »

So, while I was down in San Diego for ConDor Con, my friend Marcus made an amazing discovery.  He had a working copy of X-Com.  Not one of the new updates, the original.  The turn-based, midi-music, layered-graphics alien attack game.  It's insanely fast because it was designed for a 386 computer, but still...  I spent a good chunk of yesterday playing it when I should've been working.  It was damn fun. :)

Anyone else have an older, classic game they'd love to play-- assuming they could get it working again?

A lie is just a perfectly good story someone ruined with the truth.
