Question about St. George
« on: March 15, 2011, 07:34:58 AM »

I noticed at the end of the first book as our hero was finishing his fight with the demon he was called to the other gate and when he left the normal humans noticed that he didn't JUMP into the air as he'd done throughout the book. (: Did the demons saliva do something to our hero pushing him and his abilities that much closer to the man of steel?  I hope so.

Am I just being optimistic, or will our ascended being comember of this forum pipe in?

I'd rather think that it is pure force of will and elimination of self doubt that freed him from the shackles of gravity.

I love SCI-FI / Fantasy.  Started off with Cartoons on TV and learning the names of the dinosaurs back in the late 60s and early 70s.

I love the Iterative process of creation.

I don't think it was the demon saliva, but it was more of a mental block being removed by the ferocity of the battle.

I agree with Doug.  St. George always held himself back.  Kept himself in check.  Only in the heat of a life and death battle did he push beyond those limitations.  He broke the shackles he'd bound himself with and freed his inner dragon.

Indeed.  You might say that St. George "came out of the closet" in that moment.  :D

Thanks everyone. I'm sure our ascended friend won't want to give away any information related to book two. For me I love the absolute unlimited place this storyline can go.

What is with al the ascended stuff...?   ???

 :o

Nope, demon saliva has nothing to do with it.  Like everyone else said, it's just about overcoming self-doubt and personal limitations.

Well, I probably wouldn't've worded it quite that way, but...  :D

Yeah, I guess that wasn't the best choice of words.  Really all I can say is the impression I had when I read it, which was of St George bursting forth in a proud, happy rainbow of colors streaking across the sky.
