Hi all

29yr old, living in Dublin.

Been a fan of post apocalyptic genre since I've laid my eyes on ROAD WARRIOR for the first time. It was a while ago so amount of games/movies/books and comics I've read (with some in my collection) is pretty much enormous.

When I've stumbled upon Permuted Press while looking for Z.A.Recht books I've felt like a kid in the candy store. Shipping costs are pain sometimes, but I've switched to Kindle not long ago, doing some reading in the bus on my way to/from work.

Favourite games: Fallout franchise/Left 4 dead franchise
Movies: Mad Max series, Blood of the Heroes and of course Romero movies (with certain exceptions)
Books - don't have one favourite here, but: J. Meigs, J. Bourne, T. Monchinsky, C. DiLouie, C. MacCarthy, G. Cook, J. Grzedowicz, Z.A.Recht, K. Paffenroth and William Todd Rose.

If you won't read books zombies will eat you...

Cheers folks. Forgot to mention - my weapon of choice is shotgun. Training on the range with clay pigeons. That incident in Miami.... Better to be ready!

Mine Too! I have my Grandpa's Ithica 23/4inch pump. Plus a fine Fiskars Axe that I use to cut down Oak Trees. Yea, I use an axe not a chainsaw.

Hi everyone. I'm an author, and found this site because my editor, Felicia Sullivan, speaks highly of this site. But don't worry, I'm not here as an author. I'm actually looking for something to read. I love apocalyptic books, but don't like zombies. I read The Long Voyage Back, and really enjoyed it. That's the kind of book I'm looking for. One Second After is another favorite.

So, in addition to finding some books to read, I'd love to discuss post-apocalyptic books.

Hey guys! My name is Ben, I am 21 and currently a full time college student doing undergrad work in economics. I have always wanted to get into writing. I did a couple NaNoWriMo's, but didn't finish either novel. I think it is because I wasn't writing about something I actually wanted to write about. I have always loved zombie's, and I have a lot of really awesome plots in my head for the genre. The only problem is that I am a horrible writer! I was attracted to this forum for the PIT writers group, as well as the opportunity to hang out with other fans of horror fiction.
