The new pimpage thread
« on: February 01, 2011, 05:18:43 AM »

The old thread has grown heavy with pimpage, so here we go - first up, The Authors Speak reviews the first Duel Novella volume from Belfire Press, which includes "Nevermore" - my story of a spirit trying to thwart his own zombified corpse.

Recent interviews and free fiction can be found on the ol' homepage at daviddunwoody.com.

And of course, Empire's End is up for pre-order at Barnes & Noble. See empirenovel.com for details on the book!

As we near the release of EMPIRE'S END, here are links to some of the other stories in the world of EMPIRE. The list includes a couple of freebies, among them Dr. Pus' audio production of "Grinning Samuel."

Will be stopping by The Funky Werepig in about 90 minutes!

Also, the zombie antho DEATH BE NOT PROUD has been announced by Ambrotos Press!

"The walking dead challenge the Grim Reaper with every staggering step they take out the grave.
Their reeking existence mocks and defies the master of the underworld and scoffs at his very existence.
Even the cold grasp of the grave cannot deny the undead of their taste for flesh and hatred for the living.
This collection of dark tales is rife with such defying examples of bold insolence and stands as ghoulish
witness and rotting warning to all whom hold this tome of undead tales."

Ambrotos Press has just released Death, Be Not Proud, a zombie anthology edited by Thomas A. Erb and featuring:

Gord Rollo
Joseph Mulak
Joe McKinney
Gregory Hall
Lucy Snyder
Rick Hautala
Steven Shrewsbury
Scott Christian Carr
David Dunwoody
Sheldon Higdon
Skip Novak
Dave Brockie
Jonathan Maberry

The walking dead challenge the Grim Reaper with every staggering step they take out the grave.
Their reeking existence mocks and defies the master of the underworld and scoffs at his very existence.

Even the cold grasp of the grave cannot deny the undead of their taste for flesh and hatred for the living.
In this collection of you will find tales that are dark, gory and satirical. They examine flesh-eating zombies from a fresh and sometimes humane perspective whole never losing their horrific instinctual undead nature.

Their need to feed!
