I just found this band and I have to say, they're absolutely amazing. I love the singer's voice.

ZOMG, this is awesome.  I've heard them elsewhere, but never got a cue to who they were.  She's got an awesome voice.

Lovin' it. Sort of a Kate Bush type feel.

"Howl" is probably my favorite song on this album, followed closely by "Drumming Song" and "Girl With One Eye."

They're HUGE over this side of the pond - and well deserved. I've seen them live and Florence is majestic to watch as she performs.

If you like this, also try Marina and The Diamonds...

I wonder if there are 10,000 teenagers on YouTube right now arguing about whether Florence Welch is or isn't copying Lady Gaga, or vice versa. I bet there are, but I can't be arsed going to look.

I just discovered Flo and the machine a few weeks back, and found out that they were in concert here with just enough time to not be able to go :'(  I found them because they have a song that is on the Snow White and the Huntsman soundtrack.  I believe that it is not on any of her albums.  Good good stuff.

I'm not a big fan, but I enjoy their songs as long as they are not totally overplayed in the radio. If you ask me in certain songs Florence's voice sounds very Annie-Lennoxy :)

Their 2011 album - Ceremonials - is pretty good writing music for me.
