It's going to be a long day at work today. It's 9am here in Oz and I am so very tired. Why? It's your fault.
I downloaded Eden last night, thought I might read the sample. Did so. Had to download the full version, thought I would read another chapter. Did so. Had to read another...then another. Finally, at 4:30am I finished it, rolled ovber and tried to go to sleep, thoughts roiling in my mind.
Normally I don't enjoy books with timelines that jag all over the place, and to be honest at times I had a bit of trouble keeping track of where I was, but it didn't detract from the pace and plot at all, in fact it added to the action and gave a real sense of what had been lost in the plague.
It was like Pulp Fiction with zombies, with an Alistair MacLean type hero thrown in for good measure.
Anyway, as tired and grumpy as I am this morning I wanted to say thank you for such an exhilirating read.
