Good god.  Travis Adkins? THE Travis Adkins? After 10 years, I didn't think you were still alive.  Actually, I can't believe it.  Your novels are probably autobiographical...Best of luck you bastard.

Maybe not the Travis Adkins. There was a "Travis Adkins" shot and killed down in Charleston some years ago... and I used to get people coming up to me and going, "Holy shit I heard you were dead."

I figure you're somebody I went to school with, looking me up in regard to the 10-year high school reunion that's going on tonight. I won't be attending. (What a shocker.) I'm sure I'll be dearly missed.
