seven writing days later, SSP3 sits at 48K. the first two weeks were pretty sluggy, but now i'm back on track. four chapters for this week, and it's Tuesday, where the first week i wrote less than three chapters.

much better.

this week's tally, 18,600 words in ten chapters. total word count to chapter 33 is 61,600.

if next week is like this week, SSP3 is in the final stretch.

Before the Dawn is at 36k words, as noted in the other thread, so just under half my target.

SSP3 is going back to the editor for a second go-over.

SWoD is in need of beta readers. CD did a wonderful job of clearing something up for me, and Wardog had good feedback, as well. i'm always looking for a different set of eyes to read the business, though, so if you're game (and not in the Pendulum, where the book is in queue) hit me up.

ALSO, Rob just finished (kind of) a novella called Borrowed Time, which stars Helena Downright from his The Book of Falling along with my own character, Io. the timeline of the book will fit nicely between the last page of Before the Dawn and Vampire Sky. yay, continuity!

After 39 published short stories, I'm now working on my first horror novel. It takes place in Germanic village in the Teutoburg forest. Lots of demons, hellhounds and witches. About 10 000 words in and the entire story plotted out.
