Eleven Twenty-Three Is Coming!

Jason is battling the Great Firewall of China and Internet censorship; this is his pal Natalie, here to bring tidings of great joy:

Some may have thought that the new novel would never be released.  It's been a really long time coming.  But I can proudly proclaim that "Eleven Twenty-Three," a novel about ghosts, will be available in the next several weeks.  No exact date from Jacob yet, but it is going to happen, and I am completely psyched.
 
Chuck McKenzie, noted Australian horror critic and reviewer, received an early copy of 1123 and had this to say about it:
 
"Jason S. Hornsby stands alongside Cormac McCarthy and Tony Burgess as an author gifted with the rare ability to spin tales of bleakest human horror into literary masterpieces. 11.23 is an utterly terrifying, genre-bending, paranoid nightmare of a novel that should be in line for major genre and mainstream awards."
 
I was ecstatic to receive such a positive early accolade!
 
So if you haven't picked up a t-shirt yet (see other thread), then do so.  The shirts look pretty amazing!  I've still got a couple of potential cameo positions left for any would-be t-shirt buyer.
 
I'll keep everyone posted for a release date!

Sounds like something I'd like to read.

I should probably know this by now, but who is the publisher?

     edit  (Oh, I see!  Upon closer reading, may I conclude that PP is the venue?)

Given the subject matter, I'm almost surprised you're even allowed in China.  Their government is very sensitive about any kind of drug or vice problem in their country.

I've been informed by Jacob that all we're waiting for is the ISBN number, so it should be soon!  I am really excited, and quite frankly, need my writing to take my mind off of my own personal life right now.

Question: when do you write at your top game?  When you're content with your life, or in the pits of despair?

I can't write when I'm drunk or high.  However, it's funny...I do my best editing when I'm high, as I notice the tiniest little foibles with my word play.
