If I may, L.
It's obviously frustrating, but the sad fact of the matter is that there are two ways to survive the awareness being different from the norm, and dis-valued because of it. A person of difference can cling to those differences and insist that the difference, itself, is where their value resides. Or that person can cling to their broad humanity and insist that their value resides in what is common to all human beings. One way builds a barrier, the other way tears it down.
Guess which is harder. Guess which holds out hope for a better future for all people. Hint: They're both the same.
I'm afraid, L, that attacking wall builders only validates their fear, and makes your own voice less powerful for healing and reconciliation.
I do understand you anger. Very much that might be better is at stake, but you might reflect before unloading, and stand for the better way, instead.
