Finally, the darn thing is finished. Mostly.

This afternoon, after 7 straight hours at the computer, I finished inputting all of my edits into the manuscript for 'The Zombie Chronicles: Escape.'

The beer I had after was one of the best I've ever tasted.

Now it's being shipped off to my editor and we'll give it a pass or two or three and then it will make its way into the hands of Permuted.

It's been 8 months since I started the podcast version of the novel and seeing it all come together. It's been a wild ride that I only hope will get better.

Now, I'm going to take a very loooooong nap

I bet it does feel good! I'm almost done with NRFTD too! So it won't be long fer me to have a celebratory beer as well! YAY!

You'll never believe the feeling, though, when you eventually hold a copy of TZC: ESCAPE in your hands.

The hard work is worth it. And some. Enjoy it like you should!

I edit longhand as well, I like the organic feel of it.

I spent 7 hours straight entering all of them into the computer today and tomorrow it gets SHIPPED!

Congrats, BTW. I know how it feels to finish editing something. I'll be glad when the one novel I'm editing is done. Seriously, editing older stuff is just... meh. Oh well though--it all pays off in the long run.
