killing the Witch was nearly as wonderful as Wicked.

I guess I'll have to add Wicked to my to-be-read list.  :)

Wicked was a mixed bag.  It really bogs down in the middle.  I loved it when I first started reading, hated it by the middle and then fell in love with it again at the end.  I picked up the sequel and I haven't read it yet.

I've always wanted to do an Oz story.  Tucked away somewhere I have a few pages of a Lovecraftian Oz story called, "The Edge of Oz" which is about Dorothy.

Sounds like a good one for Cross-Genre Cthulhu:)

And, if it involves Dorothy being trussed up in red leather bondage gear, being shackled by Toto as a small demon, then they already have an action figure for her.......

It would have been in the beginning, but the more I wrote the less Lovecraftian it became.  I still think it is a neat story, but I'm not sure it fits Cross-Genre Cthulhu.

I was hoping to write one of my Western stories, starring Ace Hutson, for Cross-Genre.

Tough luck, man. I just submitted MY western/Lovecraftian story. Good luck topping my brilliance. 8)

I'm just joking, though. I'd love to see what this anthology will eventually have to offer, specifically all the genres it'll cover.

I bow to no man.  That said, I hope you are a woman.  ;D

I may still do as Jacob suggested and do the Oz story.  While my first Oz story isn't really Lovecraftian any more (though the ending is a real mindfuck that I don't think anyone has ever thought of before), I'm sure I can do a second Oz story and have it be Lovecraftian.

I have a ton of projects to work on - I organized my jump drive a few days ago and if I just worked on the stuff outlined on the drive I would have 2 years worth of work to do.
