I kind of kept track of what other authors were doing to promote their books.  For example, Bowie Ibarra did a podcast with Snark Infested Waters, so I contacted them because I knew their audience is interested in zombies.  And Dale Murphy actually turned me onto The Lost and the Damned live chat--thanks, Dale!  Once you find a venue, it's just a matter of asking whether they're interested in having you as a guest.

Just an FYI - I have found that everyone in this business have been very supportive and responsive.  It takes a little work but when you find someone be polite when you contact them.

On a side note: DL you might want to contact Mark Justice and seeing about being on Pod of Horror.  I am not sure how he determines who his guests are but when I emailed him he was very friendly.

I am not sure but maybe you can also contact these guys at Rue Morgue Radio.

Zak is getting this present because he has consistently listened and called into my show since it's beginning!) Please PM me your mailing addy so I can get that out to you!

Anyhoo, I'm hoping to have Zack Recht on the show after that, and any of you other guys are welcome to come on the show, I have full control over the show because I'm a spoiled brat and the admin. of zombiefans luvs me! So really, I'm dead serious! If you are interested in being on the show, please PM me.

Well, that's just.....neat.  (Spike from BTVS halloween episode, can't remember which one.)

Wowzers.  I spend the whole weekend working and then I read this tidbit.  And I, just, well, what I want to say is that's just (insert appropriately heavily accented profanity expressing extremity of emotional intent) cool!

Now I'm going to burrow throught the web for a bit, and find some cheese.

PS: For those of you who haven't visited the ZombieFansRadio, you should.  It's fun!

Diva, I've added your username to the ZombieFans listing so people who aren't in the know can make the connection.  Can't wait to do the show with you!

Darn. I'm going to be at work on Monday.

Be sure to bump that thread someone started on my page about the chat so the people who pre-ordered a copy of Roses can participate.

Thanks Dave! I guess I should bombard the forums with the link, I didn't do that before because I didn't want people to think I'm spammy mcSpammerton! LOL!

I'm hoping Randy will return from the vaca he's on so we can update the banner. It's still reflecting the old show date.

I called in, really.  I'll show you the phone bill.

Mind you, it was close to the end and all.  But I did, Batman, I did!

PS: DL, it's good to place the voice now with the face.  That was a fascinating discussion on your books and the stuff that got you to them.  Have fun!

Oh, and just so's ya know, yes, my avatar is a Zombified version of Howard the Duck.  It's taken from the last panel of issue#2 in the series Marvel Zombies vs Army Of Darkness.

Well, Diva, it certainly sounded like you and the gang were having lots of fun!  I just wish that I could have gotten through.  I'm sad Cry, well, maybe I'll just have to go and find a cookie now.
