I just finished, and I must say, it was GREAT . . . I'm sure you've been asked this question before, but what convinced you to have Dane armor the zombies? I found the a WHOLE LOT different from anything else . . . And the fact that Dane was zombie-ish himself was also very intriguing.

And now for a complaint!: Why a cliffhanger, why, why, why? I wanted to know what happened . . .

On another forum you mentioned that you have pdf files of some of the "extras" featured throughout the book, such as the map of Eastpointe and the various memos, training files, etc.

Is there any way I could get a copy of that for my All Flesh Must Be Eaten game?

Thanks,

Matt

The armored zombies I think originally came from a dream I had... Then I got hooked on that StarCraft game, and this one race of aliens had psionic blades attached to their forearms, and they looked like armored zombies. (I somehow seem to see zombies everywhere, for some strange reason :) )

And the cliffhanger? Well, that was how the book was originally going to end, period, until I decided I didn't want to say goodbye to Courtney.

I'm glad you liked it, Kody. Thanks for reading!

Yeah, sure, man. Let me get them put together and I'll email them to you. (I can create any kind of memo you want, if you wanted something specific.)

No problem, Travis; I had intended to buy it, I just didn't have the money. It was well-worth the money, as is all the books I buy.  ;D Now I will patiently wait for the next one.

Does it matter to an author where I purchase their books? Does it support a publisher like Permuted or yourself any more or less than if I got it at Amazon?

Thanks!

In the case of almost all our books (all except 1 in fact) the author gets the same money no matter where the book is purchased.  As for Permuted, we make the same amount of money if you purchase at any of the big online stores (Amazon, bn.com, etc.) or if you walk into your local book store and order a copy.  Permuted makes less on pre-orders and books sold through Bloodletting Books or Shocklines (which has now gone away).

'Cause it's a good way to keep people looking for a sequel.  :puppet:

What?  Hitting people over the head doesn't work anymore as a means of getting them to come back?  Darn; back to plan "Z".
