Great, now I have to work around Dunwoody  AND Sunseri . . .

Congratulations John! Your title alone has me excited ("money shot" always does it to me). Seriously though, I can't wait to see how this quartet fills out.

I probably posted a "Lost Souls" teaser already, but here's a fresh one:

In the dead of winter, three art students retreat to an isolated cottage in search of inspiration. The frozen cemetery through the birches is a perfectly bleak backdrop for the trio, but they aren't the only ones who want to play...

Thanks, David - I'm dying to read yours as well.  'Lost Souls' has Poppy Z. Brite echoes for me, which is always a good thing...

Ooh - can I write a teaser for 'Money Shot'?  Here's one...

'Vince is having a hell of a vacation.  He took some money from some very bad people back in snowy Cleveland and is planning on spending some of it in Aruba while hiding from the hit men after him, but he didn't count on the dead crawling out of the ocean and turning ten thousand tourists into bloodthirsty zombies, nor on the even worse monsters that control the zombies, nor on the collapse of civilization itself - and he can't even get ice cubes for his Cuba Libres anymore.

Lucky he's a good with a Remington, 'cause he's gonna have only one shot to survive...'

How's that?  Pretty good back-cover copy, or should I stick with stories?

I was thinking along the same lines as David.

John, I'm glad to see that you kept your integrity and didn't do the type of zombie story David and I were thinking about.  ;D

Congratulations, John!

And David, I think I already congratulated you earlier but I can't remember exactly where so congratulations to you also.

I'm with Kody on the competition thing though. With you two guys in it the stakes are awfully high!

Thanks for the congratulaions - I'm proud of the story and eager to see the other three.

Thank you, Dale.  I hope you enjoy the story - Doug and Jacob seemed to like it okay, and it was a frickin' blast to write.

Yes, John's right; if we don't get out of the gutter, scary Mr. IT will eat us . . . (yes, that is a Stephen King joke.)

Congrats again Dave, John . . . Now I'm more anxious to see who the next people who are going to be in it are.
