I did it!
After 31 years I can finally say that I will be a published author. It’s been a long, treacherous road with many up’s and down’s but I can honestly say that I wouldn’t trade any of it for this moment.
Yup, you guessed it.
The Zombie Chronicles Trilogy has been SOLD to Permuted Press in a 3-book deal that is a first for podcast fiction. Why? The opening book in the trilogy isn’t even finished yet! This deal comes based on all the episodes you have heard so far. Permuted has faith in the work, faith in me and faith in you–dear listener–that TZC will continue to be a success and while I feel the pressure already beginning to mount, I too have faith in all these things.
I would like to thank all of you who listen and support The Zombie Chronicles from the bottom of my heart. This moment isn’t just about me, it’s about all of you as well. I wouldn’t be where I am and wouldn’t be able to get to where I am going without all of you. Your emails, well wishes, tweets, facebook posts–all of it, has kept me going more than you could possible imagine and also shows the power of social media.
There is no set date as of yet for when the first book in the trilogy will hit stores (let me finish it first!) but I will be sure to keep you in the loop on all the juicy details.
Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you! I will treasure this moment, the moment I put pen to paper in order to finalize the deal, for the rest of my life. When I think back on it I will not only think back on all the hard work it took to get here but also on all of you for helping to make my boyhood dream come true.
