BILL'S GHOST HOUSE UNDERGROUND PUBLIC SERVICE EXPERIMENT
Movies can be expensive, and a film festival even more so. In my attempt to help out my fellow man (or wolf), I have purchased the entire eight film series of horror films from Ghost House Underground that were released today. They retail at Best Buy for $70.00 for all eight films, but eight crappy films aren't worth even seven bucks apiece (anyone recall last year's After Dark Horror Fest?). So, this is where I come in. your faithful werewolf will view the 8 movies in 3 days and let you know if you should buy one, several, or all of them. This way, you can still get in on the Best Buy sale before it ends!
The things I do for my friends!
All the reviews are in, including DANCE OF THE DEAD, DARK FLOORS, LAST HOUSE IN THE WOODS, TRACKMAN, BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD, THE SUBSTITUTE (my fave), ROOM 205, NO MAN'S LAND:RISE OF THE REEKER. Below are some choice cuts from the reviews.
Someone was watching RESEVOIR DOGS again.
Yes, I cringed a bit, and so will you unless you have no problems with realistic ocular trauma. This is quite nasty.
You always knew your teachers were aliens!

Whew! This is some nasty stuff! Somewhere, David Hess is smiling.
Yes, this is an Italian movie (watch it with subtitles, as the kids' voices are whiny adults in the dubbed version - like SPEED RACER or something), a salute to all the really nasty Italian flicks from the 70s and 80s.
Not that there are a lot of outhouse monster attack scenes, but this was a lulu!
Screw J-Horror. Now we have D-Horror, The Scandinavians have brought us the first Asian horror rip=off made in Copenhagen.
What do you get when you cross 16 CANDLES with a George Romero zombie flick and add the best use ever of a Pat Benatar cover?
