LA, while I'm not sure that the anthology you want will be made you should definitely write all of those; they sound kick-ass  ;D

That's all off the top of my head...

Really?  If you're not using that any more, can I have it?  I'm hungry.

One thing I'd like to see that I don't think anyone has done:  a story that mixes zombies and time travel.

EStE?

Joe R. Lansdale wrote a zombie Western called Dead in the West. it was tasty.

i'd like to see zombies on Old Earth. like in Jason X. because my tastes are plaebian.

"Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you are now the first human beings to set foot on Old Earth in three thousand years. All records of why our ancestors left the homeworld have been lost to history, but legends say there was some terrible epidemic that forced them all off world.

What's that, Mrs. Pretorius?  No, no, we're in no danger.  Since Old Earth was redicovered there have been over a hundred sampling probes sent down, and not one has encountered so much as a dangerous microbe.  We wouldn't've sent the lander back to the cruise ship if we weren't one-hundred-percent sure we'd all be perfectly safe here.

Yes, Mr. Tonklin?  The what?  What are you talkng--  By Allah!  A survivor!  We've assumed all human life on Earth had died out.  Over here, my friend!  Come join us!!

What an amazing day.  Reunited with humans who have been on Earth all these years.  What stories would they have to share?  Look, look, there are more of them.  A whole tribe it seems...

Why... yes, Mrs. Pretorius, I agree.  They do look a bit pale.  Perhaps we should all keep a safe distance for the moment..."

I did in Blood of the Dead.

(But, of course, I'd love to see more of it.)  ;)

A time-travel antho could be fun.  It might be fun to tie them together with a meta-story about a time traveller who observes the world of each story in turn.

you ever watch Red Vs Blue, Matthew? the third season (i think it's the third season) is a bunch about Church and his travels through time to try and stop what's happening in the story, only to find out that his time travel meddling is the cause behind a bunch of the things that had gone wrong before.

"oh my god!, I'M the team-killing fucktard!"

that all said, a time-travel antho would kick ass. i'd be afraid of ripping off Ray Bradbury or Steven Spielburg, though. i mean, i'm already ripping off Chandler, Hammett and Parker, you know? LOL

What about a continuation of the zombies in classic lit trend? Zombie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? Zombie Huckleberry Finn? Zombie Hamlet? There are endless possibilites here and the promotion has already started with P&P&Z. Anything past copyright is fair game. heh

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

This seems like a good bet.  With PRIDE AND PREJUDICE WITH ZOMBIES, HUCK FINN AND ZOMBIE JIM, and others out or coming up soon.  Plus it would be a lot of fun.

There was an anthology that did something like this with WAR OF THE WORLDS a couple of years ago.  It was called WAR OF THE WORLDS: GLOBAL DISPATCHES and was very good.  Ever since them I've thought that something like this would be a lot of fun.

Hamlet might be a bit of a anti-climax--everyone just gets up and dusts themselves off once Fortinbras shows up.
