I have two...

I want to see Quentin Tarrantino remake The Wild Geese and have no preference as to who stars in it.

And Hell Night. When is someone going to remake Hell Night I keep asking myself? (Read a story that when Tarrantino and Eli Roth met they sat down and watched a couple of 80s movies and one of them was Hell Night. Bring the Garths back to the big screen!).

Death Race 2000 ... oh wait.

Jason Statham - good choice - but I don't know how good it'll be yet, just saw the trailer yesterday.
Director?  Tarrantino would have been my first choice on this - 'cause it should all be about the cars......

I didn't know they were remaking The Warriors (!). Oh I hope they don't drop the ball on that one. I also have worries about the live action GI Joe movie, but maybe I'll be wrong!

I'm not so much interested in seeing films re-made as to seeing sequels.

For example, I'd love to see a Big Trouble in Little China 2, or a sequel to either the original Dawn of the Dead, or the re-make.  I was hooked during the re-make all the way up to arriving at the mall---I wanted so badly for them to have a distance to trek before finding a 'safe' haven.

As to re-makes, what the hell, here is one:  Planet of the Apes.  The latest one was terrible.  Who to re-make it?  Ridley Scott, maybe?  Ah, forget it, I think this series is dead to me.

I wonder what Clint Eastwood could do with a horror or Sci-Fi script?

Gren, I didn't know about The Warriors remake either.  GI Joe also?  I'm skeptical on both.

Damnation Alley would do as a good remake.  The end of the world.  Big things go boom!  All kinds of fun.  But I don't know who would be good with it.  The guy who did Equilibrium could probably make a good go of it I think.

Netflix no have.
Nor, for that matter do they have Hell Night.
And they only got Wild Geese about eight months back.
But they're still great!

Spare yourself.  The movie is awful, though the novel by Roger Zelazny is pretty good.

I agree Matthew, and even the book isn't one of Roger Zelazny's better stories.  If any of you haven't read 'Nine Princes in Amber,' you are in for a treat.

Nine Princes in Amber - good book.

Damnation Alley movie - fun fluff, but not very serious; Cockroaches will rule until the end of all days...heheheh.

I was SO disappointed with I am Legend!!! Remake that (or The Omega Man) and STICK TO THE STORY IN THE BOOK!!!! I mean, Will Smith wasn't bad as Neville, but I see more of a maybe....Viggo Mortensen type. Maybe that is because I REALLY can't wait for "The Road" to come out!!!

As much as I have liked all three filmed versions (for different reasons), I still cannot believe no one has done I Am Legend like the book and just stuck to the book.

The Will Smith movie disappointed me most because the monsters had nothing to do with vampirism and lookd like they'd been lifted right from The Descent.
