Huzzah! I'm glad you enjoyed Plague. It was my first physical publication (thanks again, Jacob) and always love to hear from people to liked it.

It gives me the motivation I need to keep writing. I hope Thunder and Ashes measures up as well. And see if you can get your scientist hubby to become a zombie enthusiast, too. =) It might be a challenge, but who knows? It would make for an excellent party anecdote. Heheh.

Thanks for reading! I really appreciate it (really).

Again, thank you for the kind words.

Keep on keepin' on. =)

Well Hot DAMN Z!
It is a great story! I am passing it around and getting the word out! My mom is going to read it! Which is so awesome! I cant wait to read Thunder and Ashes! I think and this is just my opinion, I think there was enough time between books to give you more time to develop what you need to do to develop!  I hope I am making sense! If not ignore me! I also wrote a review of Plague of the Dead at amazon, I don't claim to be this no all end all critic, I am not if I love something and it   gets my attention to the point where I can't put it down then for me its a winner! Plague of the Dead is a WINNER

You hear that, Borders? Huh? YOU HEAR THAT? It's a WINNER! Now stock Thunder and Ashes or I'll have Sage burn down your headquarters. And he'll do it, too. For free. He loves fire.

Thank you very much for the word-of-mouth. I think it's the very best way to get the word out about books. You're helping me out greatly and I sincerely thank you for that. You're my new best friend. Except for Diva, who would kick my ass if she thought she wasn't my best friend anymore. Moving on.

And thanks for the Amazon review, too! I wish more people would post their thoughts there. I get e-mails from people who say they bought the book based on the reviews they read, so the more the better. My life's dream is to be a full-time writer, so every positive review gets me one step closer to fulfilling the purpose of my life (which is, of course, 42).

And yup, Plague of the Dead was an awesome book. I echo that thought. : )

Yeah, if people look at you funny for liking zombies, they just havent realized how awesome zombies are. And if they continue to think you're stupid for liking them, show off your high SAT scores or your best talent. They'll feel stupid for underestimating you.

I speak from experience.

I'm actually planning on buying this book. And the sequel.

I just bought DbDA and read the Introduction from Recht and was surprised that it acted as an inspiration for his own books.

You will love every word of both books. Z knocks them outta the zombie ballpark!

Yeah!  I don't recall if Z says it in the intro, but he originally started posting Plague of the Dead in the fiction section of the Day by Day Armageddon message board!  Then he set up his own website and started posting the parts there... and the rest is history.

I would have probably bought more books from Permuted if I had found out earlier that you can actually have Barnes and Noble actually send them to your house through special orders. TO YOUR HOUSE. For 6 dollars more, but still.
