David,

Empire was a very intelligent novel.  The scene you had decribed in the first book, in how the Grim Reaper saw lives in the forms of candle lights... how he saw the difference in color of the flames of the undead.  Colors that were so numerous in front of him.  That was pure genius.  

And later on in the book, the state you had left the Grim reaper in after he had gotten involved in a situtation that he should have been indifferent about but wasn't...

Well again, I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Your first book was very memorable.  Can't wait for April 11 for more of the story!  But I guess I have to.  Hope an actual zombie outbreak doesn't occur until then.   :)

Thank you Marc! The sequel has a lot of Reaper...barring that outbreak, I hope you'll find more of those moments in Empire's End. ;)
