Or just wait until next year and get the new edition for $15 (or whatever the price is).

Grindhouse Double Feature: new review of John Dies at the End (St. Martin's), and brand new interview with D.L. :snell: on editing.

*blows dust off thread*

So I have always wanted to read this book and here I find out Permuted Press had a run at this. Is there is reasonable difference between this version and St. Martin's Griffin; Reprint edition (September 14, 2010)

I haven't actually read the St Martin version (I know, shame on me) but I know there were some chunks of new material added.  I'd go with the new version were I you.
