I was searching for Blood Lite reviews and found this in a comment on someone's blog... "This wasn't a bad anthology. I keep hating anthologies but this one was actually worthwhile."

I just visited the local Barnes and Noble today and signed their stock of Blood Lite.

So I was signing a copy of this at Walden's in the local mall while talking with the cashier, and I accidentally violated that old dictum, "Say it, don't spray it"--I gleaked on the title page! I told the cashier to label the book with "Spit on by Author" and the customer next to me grimaced; she obviously didn't find it very funny. Oh well. As the cashier said, the germs will die.

Look at this way...if the customer couldn't handle a little spit, they probably aren't buying horror books to begin with.

Though I can see the day when all the big chains have "spit on by the author" stickers, for just such an emergency.

Blood Lite was first issued as a $16 trade paperback.  The mass market edition, recently released, only costs $7.99!

How the hell did I miss this? I've been collecting vampire anthologies for god knows how long and I don't have a copy yet!

The new cover looks great, by the way. I's pick one up on the basis of that alone. Very nice.

The cover is misleading. The theme isn't vampires but humorous horror.
