Darkly Dreaming Dexter
How was this? I've seen the show and I like it but I've never tried the books. Would you recommend them?

WAY more inner thought and further character development. This Dexter seems a bit more evil than the Tv series one. IMO.

Look to Windward by Iain M. Banks.  I love the scope of that guy's sci-fi.

I just finished BLOOD RITES by Jim Butcher (yeah, there is a current pattern in my reading).  In many ways, this book had as much to do with the development of the other characters in Harry's life as it had to do with his own.  Definitely a fun read.

Just finished SUICIDE HIGHWAY by our own Doug Wotojwicz...

Spelled his name wrong, again. I know it.

The Authority Vol. 4: Transfer of Power

I really enjoyed this series.  This volume in particular was fun.
