Thanks very much, Bruce.  I am sorry for the lateness of my reply.  I live in a communist country that, for one reason or other, has blocked Permuted Press's website.

I'm flattered by your glowing review, but don't sweat it at all about your own writing and feeling defeated or whatnot.  I think we all have a lot to learn about writing.  I kind of wonder if we ever get it exactly right.  Even now, I love ESTE but if I wrote it in my current state as opposed to four or five years ago I would have done a couple of things differently.  What's impotant maybe is that you just keep working at it, and get whatever it is you need off your chest and say what you want.

As far as ESTE's incredibly convoluted plotline goes, I visualized the events in the book as one giant collage, and then just separated the different moments in time and space within the book in a manner that would remain both mysterious and also perhaps infuriating to some readers.  It was difficult plotting a time travel novel though, so it may be a little while before I attempt it again!

Thanks so much for your support, and especially for the Amazon review.  It helps so much; you have no idea.

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
