Attached is a copy of the first four chapters from my upcoming novel Eleven Twenty-Three (a novel about ghosts.).  The rest will (God and Jacob willing  ;) ) hopefully be available sometime in the Fall.

I hope you all enjoy it.  Feel free to send me plenty of feedback and let me know what you think!

Is there some connection between this and Every Sigh?  Why does Mr. Scott think Tara's name is Lydia...?   Or am I reading too much into it?  ???

Actually, you're not reading too much into it at all.  This was kind of a fourth-wall joke to indicate we're no longer in Lydia and zombie territory with this one.  I always enjoyed tinkering with self-referential humor and post-modern touches.

There's a couple more Every Sigh jokes in the novel, come to think of it.

Coming soon!  ;)  In the mean time I recommend Every Sigh, The End as a brilliant introduction to Jason's style.

I guess the first four chapters are pretty clear?  No questions?  No discussion?  What a bummer.

My question is what the hell is in the briefcase?  But I expect you won't be telling us that here.  :)

It's actually Marcellus Wallace's soul...

Oh, wait - wrong briefcase story.  Forget what I just said.

I can't exactly say what's in the case, because it's sort of central to the novel.  I'm sorry, Jacob.  Looks like a whole bunch of people will just have to read it then, huh?

If you have Adobe Acrobat, it should open up immediately after clicking on the link.  If you don't have Adobe Acrobat, you can download it for free online, and it is immensely useful.
