Disturbed's debut album, The Sickness, is better than anything they've done since. Especially the 2010 re-released edition of The Sickness. A great album, hard as hell.

John bush vocals over old school joey belladonna every day of the week.

this. it makes me cringe to think that the new album is going to have Joey on it. blecch.

Tragic isn't it?

What gets me though is that joey refuses to sing many of the songs from the john bush era, from clearly superior albums like sound of white noise etc.

At the big4 concert recently, the only track they played from the john buah era was "only".

Hope the new album isnt going to sound like the old stuff ( spreading the disease era )

Among the Living through Persistence of Time weren't that bad.

my new favorite album is Queen II. yep. when i was growing up, the only Queen album i had was The Game, which was pretty good, but every album of theirs that i tried after was too far into their . . . i dunno, Broadway phase? so this hitch i tried starting from the beginning. the first album was good. really good. then i hit Queen II and it blew me away.

since then, i've listened to A Night at the Opera, and while it was good, i think i've found my new favorite. ayuh.

my new favorite album is Queen II.

Good stuff, aye--but Queen-wise, I'm solidly in the News of the World camp, myself.  Not because of the played-to-death "We Are the Champions/We Will Rock You," but because of under-appreciated (and under-heard) classics like "All Dead," "Get Down, Make Love," and the simply heartbreaking grandeur of "It's Late."

Queen at their majestic, full-throttle finest.

The new City and Colour album "Little Hell". I seriously put this album on and I end up listening to it all night. Dallas Green is a brilliant songwriter, whether he's doing this band or Alexisonfire.

My new car came with a trial subscription to Sirius satellite radio.  Channel-surfing the hard rock stations, I've been reminded just how good the 80s Metallica albums were.  Pick one.

I'm going to add The Yeah Yeah Yeahs albums, "Show Your Bones" and "It's Blitz!" to my earlier suggestion of "Fever to Tell."  Both are damned good in their own right.  It's very refreshing to see a band that's capable of evolving and developing its sound while still remaining identifiable.  Cripes, I haven't gone through an entire discography like this since my late teens/early twenties.

It's two months after premiere of new doom-metal album of Paradise Lost called Tragic Idol. Good stuff. Postapocalyptic :)

Hell yeah.  Black Sabbath and Sam and Dave.  Nice work.  Check out this sweet video of Sam and Dave:
