Thanks for the link Travis.

You didn't sound too nervous at all. Maybe a little at the start, but within just a couple of minutes you were rockin' right along.

5 more books! That made my day!

It was a great interview Travis. I enjoyed the hell out of it.

I only got through half of it, Travis, since my computer is slow with loading such a large file, and the stupid MP3 download link wasn't working for me. I emailed Taylor for some optional information, and he said he could send me something that would, more than likely, work.

And you didn't sound too nervous. Just at the beginning, with a short pause here and there, but you got better along the way. Congrats on the interview, and with how large that website is, you'll probably attract a lot more readers.

My wife walked by my office when I was listening to the interview so I said to her, "Hey, this is the guy that I did those drawing for!" I thought it was pretty cool!

She still thinks I'm a nerd! - Dammit!  >:(

Yea Kody, 90% of the stuff that I think is cool she thinks isn't. Oh well, opposites attract I suppose.

Gotta go, I have a couch that is 2 inches from where it should be and a television set that needs to be moves up a quarter of an inch, a coffee table that is 1/2 an inch too close to the couch, and a lamp that is 1/8 inch off center on the coffee table...  ;D

Polarity !!!  Ahh joy!  Actually, I am different to Bret (Even though I must share that nerd title!), but my wife, she just practically kicks me into the study, even though she reviews my art, she says "I don't like it" (insert groan similiar to being kicked in a tender spot!), "Its well done ... I just don't like the theme!" (insert ... a sigh of relief)

Actually, I am luck my wife, Jo is as stubborn as me, and about as blunt as me.

Kody -

My wife doesn't read horror.  Ever.

She doesn't read anything I read.  She likes Austen, she likes Harry Potter, she likes stuff like 'Life of Pi' and 'The Nazi Officer's Wife'.  She'd be bored to tears by David Morrell or Robert B. Parker or Stephen King or Martin Cruz Smith or practically anything I love.

She watches 'Emma' and 'Clueless' and 'Cruel Intentions' and 'The Break-Up' repeatedly.  I watch 'Alien' and 'The Terminator' and 'Land of the Dead' and 'LA Confidential' repeatedly.

I don't watch television.  She could watch 'Antiques Roadshow' and 'Trading Spaces' and 'Coupling' for ten hours straight.

She gardens.  I cook.  I'm a beer guy.  She drinks wine.

I've been married to her for fifteen months now and I honestly love her more now than I did on our wedding day - I can't wait to come home to her, and I would die for her without even thinking about it.

My last serious woman was a horror buff who loved everything that I did.  And I thank whatever gods there are every day that I didn't marry HER.

You'll understand someday.

I will say this: You and me say 'and such' a lot . . . I just noticed that.

And in that note, I was finally able to listen to the whole thing. I really enjoyed the interview, it was very well done. Thanks for linking me to that . . . And now I have just put myself out there as a totally lazy person . . . I'll just say this in my defense: It was my internet!

Anyway, thanks Travis.

I don't normally say "And such..." but I was trying to make a conscious effort not to stutter... By saying "And such" I could just end my thought and be done with it. And such.

(Doh!)

Haha, that's fine with me. 'And such' is a good way to sum something up without actually saying anything.  ;D
