Is that emoticon blushing? It's too small. I can't tell.

Now put it over in that corner, no, wait, we'll have to move the television to do that. Move the television on the counter. No, not there! The fish tank's going to go there! Put it on the floor. Not there! Somebody will step on it.

Hehehe...Sorry, couldn't resist.

But they are good images Bret...I'll have to buy the Twilight books...Damn King, making me buy his books so I'll have a small fortune after he stops writing.

I haven't gotten his NEWEST newest one, but I did read Cell that was good.

I actually ordered Carrie, Pet Semetary, The Stand and Cujo, got them at bargain prices (All under a dollar) on Amazon, so I need to wait for Lisey to do that to. I prefer to buy stuff cheap in brand new/good condition on Amazon.

I don't think I will be disappointed. I'm not usually disappointed when I read zombie fiction. I LIVE for it.

Actually from an art point of view I can accept both a described character and a non described character.  For an artist who has to do an illustration we go for a stereo-type person (freckles ... hmm red hair, pale skin etc), gunslinger (hmmm ... dirty = tattered shirt, dusty hat (ala indie!) etc)

I was lucky DL Snell gave me a hell of a character description sheet(S) and it was nice to get a heads up in what direction I was going to take the characters.  And now its just a case of refining certain details which is cool!

Hey John,

Did the inker of Preacher have some moments where she blushed like hell while inking Preacher?

God, that was a good comic, twisted as hell (just the way I like it)

One publisher that I worked for on the RPG Gaming stuff said "I want a Draconian and a lizard man". I was having a fit. I didn't have any of the companies gaming books so I had no idea what their version of a Draconian (wings no wings, chinese version or celtic, etc...) or lizard man (Alligator, bearded dragon, iguana, or a combination of several) would look like. After a great deal of prodding I finally got a drawing from them for the Draconian, but for the lizard man I just had to wing it.  :o

Stephen, she wasn't the blushing type.  She would've inked a Marquis de Sade book without batting an eye, so long as the publisher paid her on time.

Now thats impress!  I had a friend who had to ink a comic for the gay community and just couldn't do it as it was hard porn.  It just made him that uncomfortable!

Nothing personally against the gay community, but I wouldn't have been able to do it either.

That's interesting; I wonder how I'm going to deal with WRITING a hard-core gay sex scene if I ever need one for a story or novel.

Probably the same way I deal with straight sex scenes - badly (it's one of my myriad faults as a writer; I can do horrible rape scenes or weird twisted monster sex, but when it comes to romantic scenes my writing becomes either ludicrously strained or Penthouse-letters-pornographic.  I'm working on it, though!).
