Hello everyone,

Thought you all might like a look at the layout for the new edition of J.L. Bourne's zombie journal Day by Day Armageddon coming very soon from Permuted Press.  We were going for as much of a handwritten feel as we could while retaining the readability of type.

Looks really good!

I like the whole concept of the cover and the inside layout.  ;D

Jacob, this has turned out better than I ever would have anticipated! I knew you were going for a grand scale with this, and I have to say I'm extremely impressed! It has the whole vibe of a journal going for it, and I like what you've done with adding the coffee rings and the circled and underlined passages. Makes it feel so much more real, and I will take back every bit of criticism I've given in the past concerning typos and grammatical mistakes.

I want to go on record right here in a public forum, and say I was wrong for saying the negative things I've said about this book. Although I've continued to recommend it to others, and have always listed it among my favorites in the zombie literature genre, I was letting my own personal animosities get the better of me. I should never have let what happened to me over at H23 color my views not only toward Mr. Bourne, who really wasn't involved in the situation to begin with, but to let it affect how I critiqued his writing. I was wrong for doing so, I acted stupidly, and I am sorry. Rap was good to me during the time that I was a member of his forum and I shouldn't have treated him the way that I did. I was being a bitch, and I know it. He deserves all of the accolades he will surely recieve when this is released, and I am personally looking forward to the release of his upcoming DBDA2.

I'M SORRY RAPTORMAN!

Thanks, guys!  I wish I could take some credit for its awesomeness, but it all goes to Travis Adkins (who once again has done an amazing design) and J.L. Bourne.

Mr. Bourne! i know this is an old thread and everything, but i looked at the excerpt on Amazon, and there's a thing that bothers me. and this may be dumb, but we never said "hours" after the time in the 24-hour format. like, ever. you guys do, then?
