Ha, nice work. I guessed there was going to be a third Undead volume, but simultaneously? Nope, you got me there. What's 'A novella' referring to in the 2nd TOC?

Ah-ha, I see! Will these be released at the same time, or will you stagger them?

They'll be staggered. Skin and Bones is scheduled for April 1, 2007. The Undead 3 is not yet scheduled.

It would be nice. But we're not sure if it's possible for us to pull it off that way. We're trying to get on a 1 book every 2 months schedule and that's difficult enough! Jacob

Skin and Bones is scheduled for April 1, 2007. April Fool's Day! Oh, oh... There isn't another surprise in the works, is there?

April Fool's Day! Oh, oh... There isn't another surprise in the works, is there? Well... OK, we actually collected stories for the next 50 Undead anthologies. We'll be release one on April 1 every year for the next 50 years. Then the year after that we'll release the Undead Omnibus which collects the stories from all 51 anthologies into a single volume.

Fantastic. I'm very pleased to be included in both the upcoming Permuted Press anthologies. Vol. 1 knocked me out. Can't wait to read the other offerings included here. This better not be a joke.

This better not be a joke. The 50 anthologies thing was a joke. Nothing else is a joke--there really are 2 new Undead anthologies coming out (both in 2007 assuming no major problems). Jacob

Question about the novella for U3, Jacob: Are you guys calling for novella submissions, or do you have somebody in mind for that slot already? On the chance that you are looking for stories, what word limit are you thinking of? I'd love to take a shot at that one! -Matt
