A little touchy there, if it's the project I'm thinking of. A very good friend of both Christian and mine, Sean Parker, otherwise known as Sicbelly13 on the forums (He was the writer half to Christian's artist half of a graphic novel they were both working on.) He passed away on June 1st. It's been a rough year indeed.

But yes, I'm glad that Jacob recognised Christian's talent and gave him a chance to prove himself by doing a few covers for Permuted! He does work fast, and never ever compromises on the quality.

This is true.  The unexpected passing of Sean really threw me for a loop.
He was an all around great guy and, as far as I am concerned, a very promising author.  One who could have joined the ranks on this forum.
At first I really wanted to finish what we had.  Then I didn't want to even look at it anymore.  Now I am back to wanting to  work on it.
I got the complete first chapter of CLEARING from him and I will pick up soon and complete it.  Diva tells me that his wife thinks that there
could be more.  If this is true I will consider producing it and if not I think that the first chapter is self contained enough to be a short
story.  It has a clear beginning, middle and end.

I will keep you guys posted.

And then, with infinite weariness, I delivered perhaps the dumbest, most worthless, line in all of human interaction: “So what are you going to do about it?” - John Steakley

I have it as well. You are right. It should be finished. I haven't spoke to Holly in a couple of weeks, because I wanted to respect her privacy. But in time she might be able to dig up some more work. Sean was an excellent writer! Very good stuff, and I'm glad he shared with us as much as he did!

Just a heads-up that Amazon.com is now shipping John Dies at the End:)  Get it here if you're interested.  Once it is up on Amazon.ca and Amazon.co.uk we'll be updating our website and making the official announcements.
