Alice Cooper - Welcome 2 My Nightmare
« on: March 09, 2012, 06:17:40 PM »

wow. a sequel to his landmark album Welcome to My Nightmare, some 35 years later. that's ballsy. some of the songs were written with the original members of the AC band, and the sound of those songs reflects that. there are some obvious going-back moments, like the music for "Some Folks" in "Last Man on Earth." and the opening "I am Made of You," with the piano riff from "Steven." and, of course, "The Underture," which contains several others.

i was a little skeptical, but i've listened to it all the way through several times now, and i can say i like it. now i'm listening to them back-to-back and enjoying it. ayuh.
