Well there comes a time in every youngs mans life when he has posted a few posts on a new forum and feels comfortable advertising his book of short Zombie Stories.

http://amzn.to/xHV2gz Amazon.co.uk link. There is also the paperback available through the same link.

But "Oh no." I hear you cry "More self published crap." but thats where you are wrong you see. This self published crap got

:o  5 head/star/skull review thingy on Bricks of the Dead  :o

http://bricksofthedead.com/2012/04/17/book-review-all-the-dead-are-here/

and has a total of 21 5 star reviews on Amazon with only one written by my mother in law (She is the only person to give it four stars..... >:()

Anyway in all seriousness, check it out, I promise its worth your time and effort.

I am also looking for websites to review it. If you are interested then please contact me on Facebook http://bit.ly/bcB0YW or through the forum and I will happily send a locked review PDF.

Thank you for this opportunity for shameless self promotion.

If you need an extra incentive here are some comments left on TalesofWorldWarZ.com about some of the stories included in the book.

Just genius. My head just got pushed through the 4th wall.

This has to be one of the best stories I have ever seen on this web
site!! My hat off to you Mr Bevan! You are one of my favorite
writers!! Keep the wonderful stories coming!! LOVE IT!!
Comment by Jen

I wanted to leave you with a long comment of praise, but the only word
I can think to use, is fantastic
Comment by Zack Wilson

I have only one word for this story ……….”Wow”!
Comment by Ghostwalker

Pete, that was the greatest story I’ve ever read on this site. thank you.
Comment by Andy

Utterly amazing! Very well written. This ongoing story is one of the
few I would love to see made into a movie.
Comment by brian parmeter

Words fail me. Just get the book out.
Comment by Scott B

Pete, this is an excellent piece of work. I have started reading your
other pieces on this site, and I really enjoy how you transition so
smoothly between the perspectives of various character types
throughout your work. Your diction is also excellent. I wish I had
more experience with British vernacular.
Comment by Drew Fuller

Every time I see the name “Pete Bevan” attached to a story, I smile in
my mind. Good writing, man.
Comment by Zack Wilson

God… Your writing is just amazing when I read your stories its easy to
just get caught up in them and feel for the characters. All I can say
is amazing story just like the others you’ve written keep up the good
work we need more like you in the world!
Comment by Joey B

Outstanding. It really blew me away, thanks for an awesome story.
Comment by Doc

Wonderful. Beautiful and moving. A definite favorite!
Comment by Christine

absolutely great storytelling, anything I say would be beating an undead horse
Comment by rob

You are a truly outstanding writer. As several others have posted when
I see your name attached to a story I know it is going to be
fantastic.
Comment by Terry Schultz

A really excellent story. Some might say an uplifting zombie story is
a contradiction in terms but you just pulled it off.
Comment by Tim McFadden

Consistently fantastic Pete. You really are keeping the home fires
burning for the UK contingent on this site.
Comment by apeinflames

Absolutely incredible. Beautiful piece of work. You need to get
published. This is insanely good. 10 out of 10. Two thumbs up! Keep it
coming man
Comment by Anthony R.

Love it, as a matter of fact every thing by Pete Bevan. You write the
book I’ll buy it.
Comment by hijinxjeep

One of the best story's I’ve read whether from a professional or an
amateur…bravo
Comment by Jeff

Tears in my eyes. I could hear the music.
Comment by Steph

This is one of the coolest stories i’ve ever read!
Comment by Natt Webb

Great writing! You show some real brilliance in turning a phrase. I
would like to hear more.
Comment by baddesa

Just plain fantastic. Loved every line.
Comment by Joe from Philly

This has got to be one of my absolute favorites, zombie or otherwise.
Very well done. The protagonist is flawed, but the reader is able to
empathize. I’ll be watching for more from you.
Thanks again,
J. Roy
Comment by J. Roy

Sorry to compare you to another author, (yes, you’re an author,) but
this just has a feel of Bret Easton Ellis meets the Zombies. I loved
your Minister works, but this one takes the cake, mate!
Comment by Liam O'Riley

Fantastic! I really would hope this is an opening retrospective
chapter in a novella. The style is great, the world is realistic, the
main character so richly detailed. I’ll admit I was sad when the end
scrolled up.
Comment by brycepunk

I'm speechless! This is possibly the single greatest stories of
personal growth and self realization I have ever read, and in a zombie
theme to top it off. Only one real comment, KEEP WRITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by Curtis

This was a great story and really gave me a deeper insight into my own
interest in zombies.
Comment by Cherry Darling

OMG what a story, to be honest at one point I had tears in my eyes as
I thought he had lost the kids.
Your one of the best writers I have come across Pete, up there with
Harry Turtledove and Peter F Hamilton.
Keep up the good work.
Comment by George

Well crap… that was just disturbing.
Nice work.
Comment by Oni

Excellent throwback. The voice reminded me of Poe mixed with Arthur
Conan Doyle. All in all, it’s one of my favories on this site.
Comment by Stever

One of the best I have read. I am a huge fan of historical fiction and
the style reminds me of Lovecraft and a demented Stephen Lawhead.
Comment by Unlightedpath

Now that reeks of HP Lovecraft. In a good way of course, but then how
could it be bad.
Absolutley loved it, and I suppose that you might be a Times reader.
Good choice.
Comment by Scott B

Fabulous, great twist at the end. Very much enjoyed this.
Comment by Joe from Philly

Way too many f***s for my liking
Mumxx
Comment by Kate Bevan (Pete’s Mum)
