Any experts on the American Revolution?

I'm writing a story, probably close to 8k words by the end, that's set in America during the Revolution. If you're an expert on the era and/or war and you want to swap story critiques with me, PM me or reply here. For experts who aren't writers, I'm sure we can work something out as well  ;)

I'm not an expert but have read a few things on the Revolution (that was the war against the Red Lectroids from Plantet Ten, wasn't it?)

You might give Byron Morrigan a shout. He hasn't been around the forum in forever, but he's an American history professor, IIRC.
