Ive said this in as many forums as I can find.  This is my favorite Zombie genre book I've read, and I've read many these past five years.  The storyline, the character development and the survival aspect hits home.  The importance of family is another wonderful aspect to this book.

It's quite far behind schedule but last I heard it was still in the works.

Seems like it would be a hard sequel to write. Staying grounded to the intent of the story without going over the top.
