ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE PREPARATION by David Houchins & Scot Thomas

We guarantee this is the only tool you need to survive the zombie.

OK, that’s not really true. But when the SHTF you’re going to want a survival guide that’s not just geared toward day-to-day survival. You’ll need one that addresses the essential skills for true nourishment of the human spirit. Living through the end of the world isn’t worth a damn unless you can enjoy yourself in any way you want. (Except, of course, for anything having to do with abuse. We could never condone such things. At least the publisher’s lawyers say we can’t.)

We can’t guarantee this guide will save your life. But we can guarantee it will keep you smiling while the living dead are chowing down on you.

“This book means I’ll never have to wipe myself with a leaf during the apocalypse.” --well known zombie survival guide author

THE SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY INFECTIVE PEOPLE by William Todd Rose

Bosley Coughlin can travel through time. And the future does not look good.

Through a heady cocktail of drugs and the occult, Bosley slips through time and space and glimpses The End. Cities lay in ruins, and those who still cling to life hide in the rubble like frightened animals. Walking carcasses shamble through the debris exacting a horrible fate upon any living they find.

This horrific future is the only world fourteen year old Ocean has ever known. Starving and alone, she struggles for even the most basic of necessities: food, water, shelter, love…

In the present, Bosley stumbles across Clarice Hudson and soon realizes that she is much more than a simple shop girl. One by one, she displays the seven symptoms of the contagion that will bring Bosley’s world to an end and create the nightmare Ocean calls home. Clarice may hold the key to stopping the coming apocalypse and sparing Ocean from the atrocities of mankind’s imminent future… but only if Coughlin is willing to push beyond every notion he’s ever held about right and wrong.

“I kept imagining The Dude (from THE BIG LEBOWSKI) telling a drugged out version of H.G. Wells’ THE TIME MACHINE… This is a book that is really worth reading…”--BuyZombie.com

DEAD MEAT by Patrick Williams & Chris Williams

The city of River’s Edge has been quarantined due to a rodent borne rabies outbreak. But it quickly becomes clear to the citizens that the infection it is something much, much worse than rabies...

The townsfolk are attacked and fed upon by packs of the living dead. Labeling the infected residents “bees” for their tendency to travel in swarms, Gavin and Benny attempt to survive the chaos in River’s Edge while making their way north in search of sanctuary. No one knows what waits outside the quarantined zone, but Gavin and Benny know that to survive, they must escape.

“An incredibly well written story that almost fools you into thinking that the world you are reading about is in fact real.”--Freddy In Space

MAD SWINE: THE BEGINNING by Steven Pajak

People refer to the infected as “zombies,” but that’s not what they really are. Zombie implies the infected have died and reanimated. The thing is, they didn’t die.

They’re still alive; they even breath. They’re just not human anymore.

Screams and a pulled fire alarm transform Matt Danzig’s average day in the university admissions office to anything but normal. After witnessing a colleague attacking a student with his teeth, Danzig begins a hectic journey to find his kids, his wife, and perhaps a much darker version of himself than he ever expected.

As the infection spreads and crazed hordes--dubbed “Mad Swine”--take over the cities, Danzig and the residents of Randall Oaks find themselves locked in a desperate struggle to survive in the new world.

“Extremely well-written ... the story and characters kept me turning the pages faster and faster.” --Zombie-Reviews.com

I love the cover of Dead Meat. Its especially impressive in hard back.

Also maybe it's just me but it seems as if the grain of paper inside has changed slightly...less slick?

It's possible.  I don't have much control over the specifics of the paper--I choose cream or white and that's it.  If the printer switched to a different brand or something there could be a difference.  (It also depends on where you order the book, I actually work with 2 different printers.)

I actually like it a little better. More grip when holding the book.

I know it's childish, but that makes me laugh every time I read it.  :D
