i would LOVE to be on a panel with Uwe Boll!  Although on general principle i'd probably have to kick him in the knees and then run away.  ;D

So, just got my schedule for Condor-Con down in San Diego.  Going to be there Friday and Saturday afternoon, mostly talking about movies and a little bit about writing.

For reasons unknown to me, the zombie panel was scheduled late Friday when I'm not available.  But it looks like the folks on the panel should be cool...  ;)

Hopefully some of you will be there (WarHammer?), or will prod friends in southern California to attend.  :)

Dallas needs to have one of these  :-\

Last one of these I went to was a D&D convention. Our Dungeon Master was wearing this red mesh shirt, reaked of cheap cologne and had this gigantic booger hanging out of his nose all the while awkwardly lecturing me and my nerdly 6th grade friends about HP Lovecraft. I think I had bought this huge white Monsters Compondium 2nd edition and he didn't like the 2nd edition which led to a loud D&D ripping off Lovecraft rant. Yet the whole time I couldn't take my eyes off this cornflake sized booger hanging out like a green stalactite.  :cthulhu:

So......that's that.........

I'll be there all weekend, and I have panels all three days.  Though I'm not on the zombie apocalypse panel, I am on the Sex and Horror panel right after.  Fun   :cthulhu:

I already had your panels flagged.  I'll be there to heckle and ask obtuse questions.   ;D

Deeply Freudian misread of panels just now.  Ack.  Must wash mind out with soap.

ConDor Con was pretty fun.  The Friday panel on remakes only had a half-dozen or so people in it, but the Saturday panel on screenwriting was packed, and the one I moderated that afternoon had a pretty good turnout.

Also got blown away when the moderator on the screenwriting panel, Art Holcomb, announced that he'd been a fan of the ranty blog for years and read it every Thursday.

All in all, I'd call it a good time.  Although one guy on the screenwriting panel might have come away a bit frustrated and annoyed...
