I actually used to get all sorts of super-advance LEGO news.  I tried to join the LEGO club in college, and UMass Amherst is so large it actually has its own zip code and post office.  Someone at LEGO saw my dorm address and assumed I was a professor asking about products for some reason.  So I was always getting all these big promo packages and mailers and press releases.

Never got into the LEGO club, though...

And just think, with Lord of the Rings LEGOs coming out next year, there will be all those Gollums to convert into zombies.   :)

Just saw a bunch of the new sets. The pictures look like they were smuggled out of N-Korea from a telephoto lens but from what I can tell….BRILLIANT!

Zombiemutts, those pics are a lot of fun. I have three daughters that grew up on legos and I have of course developed a love of zombies in them as well. When I saw this thread I had to get them together to look at the pictures. We shared a moment of joy and awe.
Thanks for posting.

Glad you like them!  I find these very relaxing to build.  I should have my next large one ready in a month or three.

Thank God my better half is so supportive….

Added to my list of projects is a MOC for the Empires End. Should be fun. There is something I have been toying with in my head for a specific scene in EX-Heroes but it would take a ton of pieces and I’m not sure it would photograph well at all.

There is a chance LEGO might make it...a small one...but if this gets enough attention I am sure LEGO will look into more zombie stuff.

I just wish they'd do a couple more zombies.

Y'know what'd be cool (and easy)?  The same way they do little bagged Christmas sets, they could do Halloween ones.  Here's two zombies and a little LEGO tombstone.  A vampire with a coffin.  A mummy with a sarcophagus.  Frankenstein's monster on a little tilting lab table.  A witch with a skeleton...

If this happens, I demand a penny for every bag sold...  :)

. Exactly! Just like this.

I picked one of these up at an Official LEGO store in Dallas for a large set I'm working on. LEGO makes no sense to me how they spread out their products, limit production yet don't seem to respond easily to demand.

Yeah, I like a lot of the Ninjago sets, I just don't like that they're all inherently overpriced because they have "game parts" in them.  >:(

We went to the LEGO store today for the first time in ages.  I didn't know they were doing the build-a-fig right there in the store!!

I came very close to spending a lot of money.  :D
